Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit savepainclinics.ca or take action here, and how we protect it. We never sell your personal information.
What we collect. When you send a letter or share your story, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, postal code or address, and anything you write in your message or story. We use your address only to identify your MPP and riding.
How we use it. Your letter is sent to the elected officials shown on the form. Your story is used only in the ways you have ticked on the form. If you have agreed to hear from us, we may email you updates about this campaign. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Log files and cookies. Like most websites, we collect standard log data (IP address, browser, pages visited, time of visit) and use cookies for basic site functions and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.
Analytics and advertising. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits to this site. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. We also use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It sets a cookie and tells Meta which pages you viewed here, so we can see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site and show the campaign to people who have visited it. Meta may connect this to your Meta account under its own privacy policy. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Social sharing. If you choose to post to a social network from this site, that post is made through your own account and is governed by that network’s rules.
Retention and access. We keep personal information only as long as this campaign needs it. To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@savepainclinics.ca.
